Some Things That Bother Me
1. Most men I meet aren't masculine. If you open up your mouth and there isn't a strong and lispless voice issuing from it, rest assured you will not worm your way into my romantic affections. Try as you might, sir. I am extremely tired of effeminate men. They make me want to shout at them: "Stop straddling the fence! You are a man! Your girlish ways are not attractive to me!"
2. That meeting a lot of new people wears me down the way it does.
3. Mispronunciations. It's America Online, not "American Online". As of June 2, I am attending Stevens-Henager College, not "Steven-Henager's College" or "Steven-Henager College".
4. Enetation and Blogspot have combined forces and are determined to dislike me.
5. Insomnia. Insomnia deprives me of sleep; also of my favorite things in the world, dreams. Insomnia is a beginning sign of my episodes of depression. This could all stem from the fact that I have been out in public and meeting new people continually for the last two weeks. I'm a little nervous. Now is not a good time for me to have to take a break; if I have to, this thing better come on quick and get itself over with, because I have a school to attend and a job to look for.
Some Things That Delight Me
1. Discovering Josh and his little boy, Reese, who is probably one of the cutest kids I have ever, ever seen. He has a little family. A grown-up in my reading list! Also, Jory's Internet Twin.
2. Bring It On and The Goonies are my new favorite movies. I have never seen the latter completely through. It sits patiently on top of my VCR, waiting for me to finish it.
3. Going through my old poetry and realizing... hey, I kind of like this stuff. It doesn't suck so much.
4. After two years of being indecisive, I am finally attending school again.
5. I'm excited about attending school. About finding a part-time job. About riding the bus. About things. This could possibly counteract any episodes of depression that are advancing on me with shields raised, lances out and helmets on. I also have insanely amazing friends who support me no matter what.
This entry has been extremely random. I promise when I have more to talk about my entries will make sense. Give me a week or two.
